Booch is a medium-sized beverage company, based in London, Ontario, specializing in the functional fermented beverage, Kombucha.
Within the Canadian beverage sector, Booch faces an evolving and crowded marketplace. Booch Kombucha has an established presence within London, Ontario. Given its capabilities in e-commerce and the increase in online orders during the COVID-19 pandemic, Booch has the opportunity to leverage its online presence in reaching a wider audience across south-western Ontario. At the same time, there has been a growing movement towards shopping and supporting local brands, which works to Booch’s advantage as a Canadian company.
For this primarily social campaign, we want to target health-conscious people who have disposable incomes to spend on premium beverages like Kombucha. The age range we’re focusing on is from 32-46. We wanted to target this specific demographic since aches and pains are starting to last longer as they’ve reached an older age, and they are becoming more conscious of how what they eat influences how they feel. They also value supporting local businesses, being mindful in their daily life, and knowing the quality of products they’re consuming.

Helping Local Ingredients Take Shape.
Through this campaign, we want to get health-conscious gastronomically-curious 32-46-year-olds, to see the benefits of drinking Booch, by telling them that locally sourced ingredients are the best for your body and your community. This idea will be used to highlight the natural and locally-sourced ingredients in various flavours. As the campaign progresses, we will expand this into how communities and personal well-being can take shape and how Booch can play a role in those aspects of life.
